Sunny & Walt: A Preview

Here's a sneak preview of a few images from Sunny and Walt's wedding last Saturday on Halloween. The day started out as a rain soaked mess, but thankfully the weather cleared up in time for to take some pictures outside on the deck.  If you can't tell from the photos, they had so much fun in front of the camera. I had a blast to say the least. It was the most fun I've had taking formals after a ceremony.

Check out the slideshow at the very bottom of the post.

15 Questions For Your Wedding Photographer

I read an excellent post on mydeejay.com about the process of hiring a wedding photographer. They interviewed the top wedding photographers in the Washington DC/Baltimore areas a bunch of questions that anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer should ask. I took it upon myself to answer the questions in the form of a post on this website so that my potential clients will know more about me and a little insight into the world of wedding photography.

Help-Portrait

I've been reminded here lately just how fortunate I am.  This past year has been rough on a lot of families.  I think we've all felt the economic squeeze as our country has been going through this recession.  We all have had to cut back on a lot of things.  There's been some very inspiring things going on the photography community. There's the Help-Portrait project that Jeremy Cowart is gearing up for.  Zack Arias has also been kicking us photographers in the pants to get off our butts and serve our community.  Check out the video from Jeremy on this awesome project.  I know there are groups forming in Atlanta for this but if there's anyone in the West Georgia area that would like to work together here locally, please get in touch with me.
